Covid-19 and The Sandy Duck
We are really looking forward to welcoming you to The Sandy Duck.
This is a message of assurance to our guests that we will do our utmost to offer a wonderful holiday experience whilst keep the health and safety of our guests and team at the upmost priority.
The experience may be a little different in this new sense of normal but our promise to you is that we will do all we can to ensure your time staying with us is special and relaxing.
Below are some of the new plans we have put in place.
Check in & Check out
Our check in is from 3pm until 6pm. We are able to accomodate earlier check in upon request so please get in touch. Should you prefer a contact free check in just let us know are we can send you the details you will need to check yourselves in. Check out is by 11am, please leave your keys in your room upon departure.
Breakfast is a very important meal for us and we intend to ensure we continue to maintain our high standard. Each day we will place an order form on your door handle, which we ask you to fill out and place back on your door handle before 7am each morning. You have the option of joining us in the lounge or dining room or for a more cosy morning we can deliver breakfast to you in bed. This is subject to change based on the guidelines.
Those who have stayed with us before will know of our high standards of cleaning and attention to detail however we have implemented a stricter cleaning schedule with all team members undertaking updated and vigorous training.
- Rooms are serviced daily. Should you wish for us not to enter your room duruing your stay there is a tick box to opt out of housekeeping on the breakfast form. Should you wish for any amenities to be changed please let one of the staff know over the course of the morning.
- Hand sanitizer will be available in the entrance hall and in your room.
We ask all guests to be aware of other guests within the property hallways, entrance and in the car park to avoid pinch points. Your compliance in this is greatly appreciated. We ask that masks are still worn in all communal areas and hallways within the property. This is to protect our guests and our staff, some of which are still awaiting the opportunity to have their double vaccination. You are welcome to remove you mask when sitting in our lounge.
It is essential that you do not travel if you are unwell or demonstrating any symptoms of COVID-19. We ask you to contact us should you have any concerns for your health prior to your trip.
Should you develop any symptoms during your stay we ask you let us know and to immediately head home to self isolate.
The team are taking regualar lateral flow tests and will be sent home immediately should they show any symptoms.
